Bruno Guimaraes is taking to life at Arsenal like a duck to water.

Indeed, Bruno Guimaraes has already scored two important goals for the Gunners since signing for the club in the summer, while Guimaraes is sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League with Arsenal too.

Of course, there’s a lot to love about playing for Arsenal, the success, the honour and the glory are but a few.

However, speaking to Viaplay, Guimaraes has now shared what he thinks is actually the best thing about Arsenal as a club.

Back to what Mikel Arteta knows best for Arsenal's game against Hull City this weekend. What changes would you make?

Bruno Guimaraes names the best thing about Arsenal

The Brazilian midfielder was asked to name the ‘best thing’ about playing for Arsenal.

The midfielder took a moment to answer, but he quickly said that the best thing about the club is the ‘mentality’ that surrounds the team.

This is a fantastic answer, and, once again, it’s a sign of what Mikel Arteta has instilled into this side.

For the longest time, Arsenal’s mentality as a club was questioned, in the late Arsene Wenger era, Arsenal were seen as a soft touch who often lost star players without much of a fight, while, on the pitch, there wasn’t much grit either.

Now, Arsenal are arguably the most mentally tough team in Europe. They’ve got battle scars to show from recent title races, but that led to a triumph last season as they became champions.

Of course, Arsenal’s holy grail would be a Champions League win, and after coming so close last season, their mentality will play a massive part in making another push for European glory this year.

Guimaraes certainly has the right mentality to be an Arsenal player, and, who knows? Maybe he could be the difference when it comes to trying to win the Champions League this season.
