According to a report by Kessben TV, on Friday November 6, 2026, Sports journalist Andy Kerm of Kessben Sports has raised concerns about what he considers an apparent contradiction in the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) approach to transportation arrangements for football clubs and the country’s national teams.
Kerm expressed surprise at reports and observations suggesting that GFA President Kurt Okraku and members of his Executive Council (Exco) are sharing buses with football clubs, while the association is simultaneously demanding dedicated buses for Ghana’s national teams.
According to the sports journalist, the situation raises questions about the consistency of the GFA’s position on transportation and the standards it expects to maintain for the various stakeholders within Ghana football.
He argued that it was interesting to see the leadership of the football governing body sharing buses with clubs, yet placing considerable emphasis on the need to provide buses for the national teams.
“It's interesting to see the GFA President, Kurt Okraku, and his Exco sharing buses to clubs but demanding a bus for our National teams,” Andy Kerm stated.
His comments have brought attention to the broader discussion surrounding transportation facilities and logistical support within Ghana football, particularly the resources available to clubs and the national teams.
The issue of dedicated buses for Ghana’s national teams has been a subject of discussion, with questions often raised about the importance of providing players and technical teams with comfortable and reliable transportation during competitions and official assignments.
However, Kerm’s observation introduces another dimension to the conversation by drawing attention to the transportation arrangements involving the GFA leadership and football clubs.
The journalist’s remarks are likely to generate further debate among football followers about the association’s priorities, the management of available resources and the need for consistent logistical support across the football ecosystem.
Andy Kerm made the comments on Kessben Maakye, as discussions surrounding the GFA’s transportation arrangements continue to attract attention.
