According to a report by Madrid Universal on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Real Madrid players have reportedly praised Aurelien Tchouameni and Arda Guler for their impressive progress under manager Jose Mourinho.

The two players have earned recognition within the dressing room for their professionalism, dedication and improved attitudes as the Spanish giants continue to recover from their difficult start to the season.

Real Madrid have experienced a remarkable turnaround in recent weeks, with Mourinho's tactical changes helping the team regain confidence and record six consecutive victories across all competitions.

According to journalist Juanfe Sanz, speaking on El Chiringuito, Tchouameni and Guler have particularly impressed their teammates with their commitment and approach to their responsibilities. Their attitude has reportedly made them positive examples for other players in the squad.

Tchouameni is increasingly regarded as a leader in the dressing room despite not officially wearing the captain's armband. The French midfielder has earned considerable praise for his work ethic and dedication to maintaining his physical fitness.

Sanz disclosed that the 26-year-old regularly spends extra time in the gym, demonstrating a level of professionalism that has impressed people at the club.

His importance has also increased on the pitch, where he has developed an effective midfield partnership with Bernardo Silva.

While Silva provides composure, passing ability and control, Tchouameni offers defensive protection and takes responsibility for the demanding duties in midfield.

Guler has also attracted praise for his significant improvement in mental maturity. The Turkish international has reportedly changed considerably in his attitude, professionalism and approach to training compared with previous seasons.

His development has been reflected in his performances, with the 21-year-old becoming one of Mourinho's key attacking options. He has also emerged as an important creative presence, ranking highly in several La Liga statistics for chances created.

Both players have previously faced uncertainty over their futures at Real Madrid. However, their recent improvement has strengthened their positions within the squad.

Tchouameni and Guler will miss Wednesday's Champions League encounter against AEK Athens after Mourinho decided to give them a rest.
