According to a report by Goal on Thursday, October 22, 2026, Arsenal will host Everton at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday, with manager Mikel Arteta hoping to return to winning ways following his side’s 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The Gunners will be aiming to collect all three points, and Arteta could name a strong starting lineup as his team looks to maintain its push for the Premier League title.
Arsenal’s predicted starting XI against Everton is expected to feature a 4-2-3-1 formation, with David Raya in goal and Jurrien Timber, Ezri Konsa, Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori forming the defensive line.
Timber could start at right-back, while Calafiori is expected to occupy the opposite flank. Gabriel may partner Konsa in central defence as Arteta looks to strengthen his backline and prevent Everton from creating dangerous opportunities.
In midfield, Declan Rice could retain his place alongside Bruno Guimaraes. Rice’s ability to recover possession and provide defensive cover will be important, while Guimaraes could offer additional control and creativity in the middle of the pitch.
Further forward, Eberechi Eze is expected to feature on the left wing, with Noni Madueke operating on the right. Martin Ødegaard could play in the attacking midfield role behind the striker, using his vision, passing ability and movement to create chances in the final third.
Kai Havertz is tipped to lead Arsenal’s attack, with the German forward expected to use his movement and aerial ability to trouble Everton’s defence.
Arsenal will need to improve their finishing after failing to secure victory against Bayern Munich, particularly as they look to turn their attacking opportunities into goals.
Arteta will be hoping his players produce a stronger performance in front of their home supporters on Saturday. A victory over Everton would provide an important boost to Arsenal’s Premier League title ambitions.
