FC Samartex will welcome Bibiani Gold Stars to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena for the Western derby as they renew their rivalry on Sunday, November 1, 2026.

The Timber Giants will be eager to return to winning ways after playing out a goalless draw away to Berekum Chelsea last weekend.

Nana Kweku Agyemang’s side sit third in the league standings with 15 points, just two behind leaders Medeama SC. A victory would keep them firmly in the title race as they look to maintain their strong start to the campaign.

Samartex will also take confidence from their impressive home form, having won three and drawn one of their four matches at the Nsenkyire Sports Arena this season.

Gold Stars, meanwhile, have struggled for consistency and currently occupy 12th place with 10 points.

The Miners recovered from their narrow defeat to Debibi United by beating Heart of Lions at home last weekend. They will now be looking to build on that result and secure back-to-back wins as they seek to climb the league table.

With Samartex chasing the league leaders and Gold Stars looking to find greater consistency, Sunday's Western derby promises to be a keenly contested affair.
