265th Clasico: Barcelona and Real Madrid set for LaLiga showdown as probable line-ups emerge

Barcelona host Real Madrid at Camp Nou this weekend in the 10th round of LaLiga, with the two sides separated by six points before the 265th Clasico.

The Catalan club go into the fixture as league leaders, while Real Madrid are their closest challengers. As well as offering a significant early meeting in the title race, the game presents Barcelona with the opportunity to claim a historic victory.

Barcelona

Barcelona’s squad has been affected by a number of injuries ahead of the match. Dani Olmo will miss the game after sustaining an injury against PSG and joins Andreas Christensen, Eric Garcia and Roony Bardghji on the list of absentees.

There is also uncertainty over Jules Kounde, whose involvement remains in doubt.

The predicted Barcelona line-up is:

Goalkeeper: Joan Garcia

Defenders: Xavi Espart, Pau Cubarsi, Gerard Martin, Joao Cancelo

Midfielders: Pedri, Rodri, Fermin Lopez

Forwards: Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Anthony Gordon

One preview has placed the odds on a Barcelona victory at 1.65 for the LaLiga Clasico.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid will be without Vinicius Junior, who remains suspended after being sent off against Villarreal.

The visitors must also cope without Raul Asencio, Ferland Mendy and Rodrygo, all of whom are unavailable for the trip to Catalonia.

The predicted Real Madrid line-up is:

Goalkeeper: Thibaut Courtois

Defenders: Federico Valverde, Ibrahima Konate, Dean Huijsen, Marc Cucurella

Midfielders: Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga

Forwards: Arda Guler, Kylian Mbappe, Yan Diomande

Barcelona and Real Madrid will soon meet in their 10th league fixture of the Spanish championship. The match odds listed by 1xbet are 1.62 for a Barcelona win, 5.75 for a draw and 3.90 for a Real Madrid victory.
