Basake Holy Stars midfielder Joseph Hudson says his side are determined to secure points when they travel to face Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Friday.
Hudson expressed confidence in his team's preparations, pointing to the intensity and energy displayed during training ahead of the match.
"Our training is positive, and when we look at the intensity we are using at training, the energy is really very high. Per this week the training we have done, they told us that the game we are going there to take points or we are bringing the points home," he told Basake Holy Stars TV.
Basake Holy Stars head into the encounter after recording a 1-0 victory over Bechem United in matchweek seven, with Bismark Teye scoring the decisive goal in the 56th minute.
The club currently sit fifth in the league standings with 12 points from seven matches.
However, Basake will be looking to improve on last season's results against Hearts of Oak, having drawn 0-0 away before suffering a home defeat.
The two sides will clash at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Friday, with kick-off scheduled for 5:00 pm.
