Basake Holy Stars midfielder Joseph Hudson has urged supporters to maintain their faith in the team as they prepare for Friday’s Ghana Premier League encounter against Accra Hearts of Oak.

Holy Stars will travel to the University of Ghana Sports Stadium for the match, scheduled to kick off at 5:00 pm, hoping to build on their recent victory over Bechem United.

Basake Holy Stars secured a 1-0 win over Bechem United in matchweek seven, with Bismark Teye scoring the decisive goal in the 56th minute.

Ahead of the challenging away fixture, Hudson assured supporters that the team would fight to secure a positive result.

"What I will tell the supporters is that the faith they have in us always they should keep on having faith in us. We will not disgrace them. When it is matchday, the way they come to support us, we will go for the win so that they come always," he told Basake Holy Stars TV.

Basake Holy Stars currently sit fifth in the league standings with 12 points from seven matches.

Last season, they drew 0-0 away against Hearts of Oak before suffering a home defeat in the return fixture.
