The midfielder played a pivotal role in the emphatic win, registering two assists in the second half to help Gençlerbirliği turn a promising performance into a comprehensive victory.

Gençlerbirliği made a dream start when Ülgün opened the scoring in the first minute, finishing off a move created by Franco Tongya to give the hosts an early advantage.

Despite enjoying only 41 per cent possession, Gençlerbirliği remained clinical in attack, exploiting spaces in the Alanyaspor defence with swift transitions.

Traoré took charge after the break, producing two decisive moments within seven minutes to put the hosts firmly in control of the contest.

In the 59th minute, the playmaker picked out Tongya with a well-timed pass, allowing the forward to double Gençlerbirliği’s lead. Traoré was at it again in the 66th minute, setting up Tiago Gouveia to make it 3-0 and further extend the hosts’ advantage.

The two assists proved decisive in breaking Alanyaspor’s resistance, with Gençlerbirliği capitalising on their attacking momentum to add two more goals.

Pedro Mendes scored the fourth in the 68th minute, with Tongya providing the assist, before Gouveia completed his brace in the 78th minute to seal a memorable 5-0 triumph.

Traoré’s vision and ability to create opportunities in transition stood out in a performance that underlined his importance to Gençlerbirliği’s attacking play.

The convincing victory gives Gençlerbirliği a significant boost in their Süper Lig campaign, while Traoré will take confidence from his influential display as he continues to contribute to the team’s attacking ambitions.
