Vision FC and FC Port City played out a goalless draw at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema on Saturday, with neither side able to build on their victories from the previous matchday.
Both teams came into the encounter hoping to make it back-to-back wins, but it proved to be a closely contested affair, with clear-cut chances few and far between.
The two sides were more organised defensively, making it difficult for either attack to find its rhythm. Despite their efforts, neither team could find a breakthrough as the game ended without a goal.
Port City enjoyed slightly more possession, with 56 per cent compared to Vision's 44 per cent. They also registered eight shots, while the hosts managed three, but neither side could turn their efforts into a winning goal.
The result sees Port City move up to third in the Ghana Premier League standings with 15 points, although their position could change depending on Sunday's results.
Vision FC, meanwhile, move to 12th with ten points from nine matches as they continue their search for consistency.
Vision will travel to face Karela United in their next league fixture, while Port City return home to host Basake Holy Stars.
