Real Madrid secured its seventh victory across all competitions and its fourth in the EuroLeague by defeating Maccabi Tel Aviv 99–113 in Belgrade. Pedro Martínez’s squad overcame a 15-point deficit and improved its continental record to 4–3.
Facundo Campazzo orchestrated the comeback from the bench, contributing 21 points to anchor the visiting attack. Andrés Feliz added 18 points, including a flurry of deep shots during a decisive second-half sequence. The Spanish club converted 21 three-pointers over the course of the match, overwhelming Maccabi’s perimeter defense after trailing 44–29 in the second quarter. Jimmy Clark led Maccabi Tel Aviv with 20 points, but the Israeli side could not contain the visitors’ offensive momentum after intermission.
The contest began at a frantic pace with Maccabi exploiting defensive gaps through Colson and Theis. Theo Maledon helped unclog the attack, but aggressive penetration by Oded Kattash’s team pushed the hosts ahead 19–12, forcing Martínez to intervene. Real Madrid narrowed the gap to 52–51 by halftime thanks to an 8–22 run sparked by Campazzo and Luwawu-Cabarrot. After the break, Yam Madar briefly put Maccabi ahead 64–65 before Campazzo and Tavares engineered a run that stretched the lead to 73–81 heading into the final quarter.
The victory provides momentum for Real Madrid ahead of a double-week European schedule. The squad travels to Vitoria on Tuesday to face Baskonia before returning to the Movistar Arena on Thursday to host Fenerbahçe in EuroLeague play.
