English-Ghanaian midfielder Kofi Shaw was on target as Brighton & Hove Albion U21 secured an impressive 4-2 victory over Fulham U21 in Premier League 2.
Shaw opened the scoring early at Motspur Park, putting Brighton ahead in the third minute after capitalising on a partially cleared cross from Nehemiah Oriola.
The midfielder's goal set the tone for an impressive start by the visitors, who doubled their advantage through Oriola in the 11th minute, with the winger firing into the top corner.
Fulham responded four minutes later through MacAulay Zepa, who cut inside before beating Brighton goalkeeper Steven Hall with a low left-footed effort.
The hosts grew into the contest and eventually drew level in the 71st minute when Zepa converted a penalty after being fouled inside the box.
However, Brighton finished strongly, with Oriola restoring their lead in the 80th minute before substitute Valentin Joseph sealed the victory three minutes later.
Shaw was substituted in the 75th minute after contributing to Brighton's strong attacking display.
The victory marked a return to winning ways for Brighton's under-21 side, who will look to build on the result in their upcoming fixtures.
