TNA has announced the return of a popular match stipulation for the first time in four years.
Taking to X, the company announced that the Triple Threat Revolver match will return during its November iMPACT tapings in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The announcement marks the first time the stipulation has been used since 2022, bringing back a match format that previously featured several competitors fighting for an opportunity at championship gold.
TNA also confirmed that the winner of the match will receive a shot at the TNA World Championship, currently held by Leon Slater. The “Youngest In Charge” is set to defend the title against Trey Miguel at Destination X on November 15.
The Triple Threat Revolver match will take place during TNA’s November 18 iMPACT tapings at the WinSport Event Centre in Calgary. The winner will earn a future opportunity to challenge for the TNA World Championship.
The match features a revolving series of triple threat contests. Whenever a competitor gets pinned or submits, they are eliminated, and another wrestler enters the match to maintain the three-person format.
The process continues until only three competitors remain. The wrestler who scores the final pinfall or submission will win the match.
TNA has not announced the participants for the returning stipulation. The company’s last Triple Threat Revolver match took place at Victory Road 2022.
