Royce Keys reportedly played a key role in Cruz Montana becoming the 946’s sixth member on WWE RAW.
Last night’s episode of WWE RAW featured a singles match between the Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and 946 leader Royce Keys. The contest ended in a disqualification after Carmelo Hayes, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price jumped the barricade and attacked Sikoa right before he was about to hit the Samoan Spike on Keys.
A brawl erupted after the match as Roman Reigns and the Usos joined Solo Sikoa to take the fight to 946. However, when the OTC had Royce Keys in position for a spear, Cruz Montana came out wearing a mask and took out Reigns with his Spin The Block. He revealed himself as the newest member of the heel faction.
After the event, False Finish reported that Royce Keys played a major role in Cruz Montana joining 946. “Another Royce Keys decision,” they wrote.
When Carmelo Hayes joined the group last month, the same outlet reported that Royce Keys was the one who asked WWE officials to bring the former United States Champion into 946. They also noted that company officials are pleased with the heel faction’s progress. Many feeling they “have knocked it out of the park.”
Just when the Bloodline felt they leveled the playing field against 946, Cruz Montana’s addition has put them at a disadvantage. The two groups are reported to collide in a five-on-five WarGames match at Survivor Series later this month. Jacob Fatu, whom Jaida Parker took out by running him over with a car, could return before the PLE to even the odds for his family. Ahead of the event, Roman Reigns has a big Champion vs. Champion match against Sami Zayn at WWE Crown Jewel this Saturday.
