Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola has previewed this weekend's clash with Crystal Palace in a press conference, with the Reds hoping to bounce back from consecutive defeats against Arsenal and Fenerbahce.
While things have been going relatively well for Liverpool in general this term, those losses this week have increased the pressure on Iraola's men to get a victory at Selhurst Park. This is every word the Spaniard had to say on Friday.
Ryan Gravenberch injury latest: "The only doubt we will have is Ryan. The others will be the same as we have been. The Ryan Gravenberch thing is a day-to-day thing; it’s a matter of pain. Let’s see if he can deal with the pain and he can help us."
Where Bradley Barcola will play most often: "Bradley is a winger. Mostly, he has played as a left-winger, sometimes as a right-winger, but has also played at PSG as a striker, and it’s something that I wanted to try. I thought against the center-backs he could be a threat, especially in behind. But he is a winger and he will be, mostly, 90 percent of the time, used as a winger.
"It's an alternative that I sometimes I want to try. I tried with Cody [Gakpo] against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, and maybe not from the beginning, but it’s true during the games, I think it’s an option we can use when Alex [Isak] is tired and we need another type of striker, we can use the other strikers we have, but also the wingers can do a job there."
Alexander Isak's form: "Alex is a top goalscorer. We know if we can put him in the position to score, he will deliver. It is not a guarantee, but the closest thing to a guarantee almost.
"Like every player, he can add more things to his game, but we want to use the things that he has. He’s very good at attacking the spaces, attacking the channels, I think he’s technically clean. We are trying to use him in the best way."
Differences in Premier League and Champions League so far this season: "It has been a strange season. In the Champions League, we are scoring a lot and conceding a lot in, but in the Premier League we are scoring less and conceding less. Obviously we want to score a lot and concede less, so that’s the challenge we have.
"I think it’s a matter of controlling the games, but also sometimes, for example the other day against Fenerbahce, I think we were controlling the game sometimes too much.
"Sometimes we are in possession, we are having good positions, we are arriving, but sometimes we have to throw numbers inside the box, arrive with more players. I twill take a little bit of control (away), but will give us more threat at the times we arrive. Especially against Arsenal, the way we attack the box has to be better."
On getting back on track after the international break: "I think that's the challenge, especially in a club like Liverpool. One week ago in this same press conference, we were on a run, everything was in a good place and we were in a better mood.
"And now, two defeats, it changes. It has to change and it has to be like this in a club like ours. Now we have to react after two defeats. We need the win against Palace away and we've been, I think, in similar situations — I remember Bournemouth before the international break, even the Brentford game. So, we have to go there and do the job and win the game.
"It's not easy in the moment because we react the same way. When we lose a game, everyone is angry. But we have to have some perspective and we know in the process we'll go up and down.
"We have to get through these moments. We would love to have good performances, wins, good results, but normally it doesn't happen.
"There are moments where you are in a good run, like we were before Arsenal. Now you lose two games, there are always doubts. I understand. As a supporter, I would do the same — it's normal.
"But the ones that are here and we work every day and we know what we are doing. We are not as bad as we look today, we were not as good as we looked one week ago.

"We have to have some perspective and this is part of my challenge also in terms of mood for the group. Obviously we need to correct things, especially the other day that cost us the goals on set-plays, but we still are doing good things."
On the challenge that Crystal Palace will pose: "I think, even if they change the manager, there is a continuity in terms of more or less the system is the same, the players are very familiarised with the things that they are trying to do.
"I was obviously watching the game yesterday. They fight until the end. Even with 10 players, they managed to get a result in the last second. I think it's a team that has good quality players inside. They put in their box in the middle [Adam] Wharton, [Daichi] Kamada, Yeremy Pino, [Quinten] Timber — all the players that can play there are good on the ball.
"And also, it's a pitch that is not the biggest pitch, so you feel quickly under pressure in terms of one throw-in, one long ball, straight away it goes into the boxes. So, there is a lot of situations inside the boxes that you have to be very good offensively and defensively."
