MANNY PACQUIAO could make a sensational appearance on Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua’s blockbuster undercard after British star Joe Cordina agreed terms to face him.
The Filipino boxing legend, 47, is being lined up to fight the Welshman, 34, on December 11 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
Fury and Joshua will finally settle their long-running rivalry in one of the biggest fights in British boxing history, with Pacquiao potentially adding even more star power to the Netflix event.
Cordina’s promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed negotiations were at an advanced stage but insisted the fight was not yet a done deal.
Hearn told The Ring: “We’ve agreed terms to fight Manny Pacquiao but, I’m not saying it’s done.”
He added: “We were approached about the fight, agreed the purse and now we’re waiting to hear.”
Pacquiao is the only boxer in history to win world titles across eight weight divisions and boasts an incredible professional record of 62 wins, eight defeats and three draws.
The former world champion came out of retirement in July 2025 to challenge Mario Barrios for the WBC welterweight title, only to be denied a fairytale victory following a majority draw.
A showdown with Cordina would mark Pacquiao’s first professional fight on British soil, and his first against a Brit since knocking out the late, great, Ricky Hatton in 2009.
Cardiff-born Cordina is a two-time IBF super-featherweight champion who lost his title to Anthony Cacace on the undercard of Fury’s first fight with Oleksandr Usyk in May 2024.
