The title fight marks another major milestone for the 32-year-old, who earlier this year fulfilled his ambition of opening a fight gym in Deeside.
Speaking ahead of the bout, Danny said becoming a world champion has always been one of his biggest goals and believes his opportunity has come at exactly the right time.
He said: "Winning a world title has always been a goal of mine and I know I will be world champion on God's timing.
"It's mad because when I opened North Wales Fight Academy and spoke to The Leader earlier this year, I said bringing a gym back to Deeside and winning a world title had always been my goals.
"This year both have come to me, but I work harder than anyone to make these things happen. Anyone who knows me knows that."
While the title opportunity is a personal achievement, Danny said he hopes his success can inspire younger members of the gym to chase their own ambitions.
"Winning this isn't just about me," he said. "It's to show the younger ones in the gym what can be achieved when you put your mind to something and never give up, and that goes for anything in life.
"I'm always trying to lead from the front for North Wales Fight Academy and what we've all done in the first year is unbelievable."
The gym has quickly established itself within the local combat sports community since opening, with Danny believing more opportunities will follow for his fighters in the future.
"The gym is thriving and you will see more and more of these opportunities happening with our team," he added.
"I'm just grateful to be a part of it all, doing what I love and giving back at the same time.
"I always say the meaning of life is to find your gift, and the purpose of life is to give it back."
Danny will now look to crown a memorable year by adding a world title to the list of achievements as he steps into the ring at Liverpool's Boxpark next month.
He will be cheered on by around 100 Deeside locals, something Danny is "forever grateful" for.
