Emanuel Odiase will face Mike Perez in a heavyweight contest at the Europa-Park Arena in Rust, Germany, on November 27, promoter Ringside Zone has confirmed.
The event takes place a day before Agit Kabayel is scheduled to make the first defense of his WBC heavyweight title in Düsseldorf.
“German boxing is back, and Ringside Zone is leading it. When we started, people said big nights in German boxing were a thing of the past,” said promoter Florian Winter.
“Two European heavyweight title fights, a former world title challenger in Mike Perez, and the next generation of German heavyweights on one card. The whole boxing world is coming to Germany that weekend, and we're opening it in Rust. This is the night everyone will be talking about.”
Germany’s Odiase, 12-0 (10 KOs), will face Cuba’s Perez, 32-3-1 (22 KOs), over 10 rounds.
Odiase stopped British heavyweight Nick Webb in the second round in May, while Perez, a former cruiserweight title challenger, comes into the contest following a points victory over Franklin Arinze in Manchester that same month.
Also on the card, Labinot Xhoxhaj, 22-0-1 (17 KOs), will defend his European heavyweight title over 12 rounds against Italian champion Eduardo Giustini.
Xhoxhaj has held the title since November 2024 and most recently defended it with a fourth-round knockout of Pezhman Seifkhani in February.
Karen Chukhadzhian, 26-4 (14 KOs), is also scheduled to return against unbeaten Luis Argañaraz, 16-0, following his defeat to Paddy Donovan in an IBF welterweight final eliminator in May.
