Launched in 2021 by Jamie Carragher, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Conor Coady and others, Football For Change harnesses the power of football and business to tackle inequality and create opportunities for young people who face barriers to education, employment and personal development. The funds have supported a wide range of initiatives designed to make a lasting difference to young people and communities across the UK.
DSV has now joined forces with Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher as they aim to raise an additional £250,000 for the charity to help young people from disadvantaged communities build brighter futures.
DSV helps businesses optimise their supply chains and meet increasingly demanding production schedules, and its support will help bring together guests and partners for an evening dedicated to making a difference through football.
Surinder Dubro, Managing Director of DSV, said:
“Businesses have an important role to play in supporting the communities in which they operate and helping create opportunities for the next generation.
“We’re proud to be the headline partner of the 2026 Football For Change Gala, supporting an initiative that brings together people from across business, sport and entertainment to make a meaningful difference to young people’s lives. By working together and investing in the potential of young people, we can help break down barriers, open doors and give more young people the opportunity to build a brighter future. It’s fantastic to see so many different sectors united behind such an important cause, and we’re delighted to be part of it.”
Jamie Carragher, Chairman of Football For Change, said:
“Football For Change was created because we believe every young person deserves the chance to fulfil their potential, whatever their background or circumstances. Talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn’t always, and that is something we are determined to change.
“We’ve made a fantastic start, raising more than £1.5 million and helping young people access education, skills, mentoring and opportunities that can genuinely change the direction of their lives. But there is so much more to do.
“Our ambition is to raise a further £250,000 through this latest fundraising drive, bringing together the football community, businesses and people who share our belief that we can make a real difference. Every pound raised at the Gala can help open doors, build confidence and give young people the chance to create a better future for themselves.”
Football For Change is continuing to work with its supporters, corporate partners and grassroots organisations to identify and fund projects that deliver meaningful opportunities for young people who need them most.
