Real Madrid is going through one of its best moments of the season. After winning the Clásico, Mourinho's team once again showed its good form with a convincing victory over Racing. Another start for Diomande... and more noise on the table.

The Ivorian once again delivered with an outstanding performance, which he capped off with a spectacular strike from the edge of the box. His numbers since the break ended speak for themselves: four goals and four assists in the six matches he has played. A progression that has not gone unnoticed by Jorge Valdano. The star analyst discussed the player's development on Movistar and highlighted how he has been growing since his first appearances. "He has been gaining confidence; he looked shy in the first matches", he began.

However, the Argentine also focused on the consequences that this strong collective form could have for Vinicius. "These matches are bad news for Vinicius, who is going to have to win back the place that his teammates have now taken from him", Valdano said. A reflection that captures the new scenario facing the Brazilian, who no longer has his place in the starting eleven guaranteed after his teammates' recent performances.

That being the case, Vinicius will start this Wednesday in the Champions League match against AEK Athens. After that, he will serve his final suspension match in the league, against Valencia, and will be able to return to domestic competition after the international break, in the clash against Celta. "I care a lot about Vinicius, I need him, but I'm not saying he's going to start", Mou said ahead of the Racing match.
