The 19-year-old, known for his performances in the Scotland youth set-up, replaced Malelili Satala with 14 minutes remaining in Edinburgh's opening European Challenge Cup tie of the season against Toulon.

Despite his efforts, he was unable to inspire a comeback, with the match ending 27-17 in favour of the French side.

Fellow Borderer Darcy Graham also featured in the match, starting for the hosts at The Hive.

Graham made a remarkable return from a ruptured bicep sustained just four weeks prior that had been set to rule him out for the remainder of 2026.
