Ex-Patriots Super Bowl champ makes bold prediction for next four games

Former New England Patriots wide receiver Chris Hogan believes that the team will win their next four games. He appeared on The Patriots Report podcast on Tuesday and made his prediction.

The Patriots have upcoming matchups against the Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers. Both of the games against the Packers and Lions are the most dangerous on paper. The Dolphins have only one win this season, and the Chargers haven't won a game yet.

"I think we’re going to win the next four," said Hogan. "We got Miami away, which again should be a win. We got the Packers at home. We’re playing well at home. We’re gonna have to go on the road in Germany… I know the travel, but I think that’s a game that we absolutely can win. And the Chargers are a disaster right now."

Hogan made sure not to completely dunk on the Chargers, who could be viewed as a tougher challenge by the time the Patriots get to them.

"Again, that's another game, right? That's an AFC opponent, they're not playing good football," said Hogan. "I don't really care what their record is. [Justin] Herbert still is who he is. [Jim] Harbaugh is going to try to get this team right at some point, and you don't want it to be against us."

Pulling off four straight wins would have the Patriots sitting at 8-3 with a high likelihood of making the playoffs and possibly even competing for the top seed in the AFC. All four of those games are winnable, if the team continues to play at a high level over that stretch.

That includes Drake Maye and the offense overcoming multiple injuries, A.J. Brown becoming a factor and the defense playing at an elite level.
