Igor Jesus picked up an injury during the international break, and Nottingham Forest head coach Oliver Glasner has now shared an update on his availability.
Jesus scored the winner when Forest won their only match of the season against Aston Villa. He was also on the wrong end of a seemingly poor VAR decision when his goal was chalked off against Coventry.
During training ahead of Crystal Palace, Jesus suffered a calf problem, however, and has missed the games against the Eagles and Arsenal.
Now, ahead of Friday’s trip to Ipswich Town, another update has been delivered on Jesus, and it would appear the fans will have to wait a bit longer to see him back on the pitch.

Jesus won’t be available for the trip to Portman Road tomorrow. He’s still doing some rehabilitation work to try and get the injury right, with a game in a couple of weeks now earmarked for his return.
Glasner believes the game against Manchester City is in his thoughts for the Brazilian to return to action, although he’s admitted he’s not going to take any risks.
He told Nottinghamshire Live: “He’s on track, I would say. If everything goes perfectly, then he could return for the City game, definitely.
“Like I said about Morgan before, it’s whether it makes sense to take a risk for one game? For example, after City we then have two weeks off because it’s an international break. Does it make sense to take this risk when we have two more weeks? But he’s on track.”
Jesus is going to be a big player when he returns to action. Last season he scored some very important goals, and with Chris Wood looking a shadow of his former self, Jesus feels very important.
Glasner is right, though. It’s a long season, and after streamlining the squad in the summer, the challenge is to pick and choose things very carefully for each and every game.
