Liverpool failed to kick on during the early stages of Sunday’s match against Arsenal, allowing the visitors to get a foothold with a goal after 15 minutes.
From there, the Reds began to dominate, but despite the crowd at Anfield being right up for it, frustration lingered at the fact that they found themselves behind.
Generally, Liverpool players stood up well and showed their ability to go toe-to-toe with the Premier League champions. However, Milos Kerkez in particular struggled to show his best self, wasting the ball when in good positions numerous times. This did not go unnoticed from the Anfield crowd, who let Kerkez know of their frustrations.

What were your thoughts on some Liverpool fans booing Jordan Henderson? Is that the way to treat a club legend? 🤔
Despite the bonus of working with a manager who has previously got plenty out of him, Kerkez has struggled during his second season with Liverpool.
Joe Gomez could have been an option for Andoni Iraola at left-back against Arsenal, and after what Reds fans have seen from their Hungarian first-choice in recent times, the veteran would have been a popular choice.
The feeling that Iraola may have made a mistake in his selection was amplified by Kerkez delivering another lukewarm display against Arsenal, with former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock noticing that fans at Anfield were becoming ‘really disgruntled’ with the 22-year-old’s lack of quality on the ball.
“Liverpool have got an issue on the left side,” Warnock said on BBC 5 Live. “Whenever Kerkez gets the ball it keeps on breaking down and the fans are getting really disgruntled with him. He doesn’t know when to take a touch.”
Whenever Liverpool seemed to get themselves into good positions, it was Kerkez who found himself with the ball at his feet. Though he did put the ball on a plate with a superb cross from which Alexis Mac Allister should have scored from, the former Bournemouth man was otherwise extremely disappointing.
