Si Woo Kim enjoyed a stellar season on the PGA Tour in 2026 without actually winning.
He recorded six top-5 finishes and 11 top-10s in 24 PGA Tour starts this year.
The 31-year-old South Korean has firmly established himself as one of the best players on the planet this year, and he is currently ranked as the world’s 14th best golfer.
Si Woo Kim‘s attention switched to the DP World Tour this week at the Genesis Championship in South Korea.
We are already dreaming about Thursday at Augusta National!
Without a victory to his name this year, the South Korean will be desperate to record a victory in the country of his birth.
And with just one round to play at the Genesis Championship, Si Woo Kim still has a good chance of winning the tournament.
Si Woo has obviously been the huge crowd favorite this week at the Genesis Championship in his homeland.
And he is right in the mix to win the tournament heading into the final round on Sunday.
Si Woo Kim posted an opening round of four-under par 67 at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club on Thursday.
The South Korean followed that up with a round of 69 on Friday and then carded an impressive 67 on Saturday.
He is sitting at 10-under par for the tournament, three shots adrift of the leader – Japanese star Yuto Katsuragawa – with 18 holes left to play.
Si Woo’s third-round was blemish free, as he made four birdies and 14 pars to compile his round of 67.
He will be looking for a similar round on Sunday at the Genesis Championship as he looks to win in his homeland for the first time in his career.
However, much will depend on how Katsuragawa performs during the final round at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club on Sunday.
