Everton are reportedly considering a move to sign MLS standout Kelvin Yeboah in January. Here is everything you need to know about the Minnesota striker.
Everton’s need for another striker is incredibly well-documented, with Thierno Barry at risk of being run into the ground given the sheer amount of minutes he is forced to play, although he is shining in the spotlight.
Seamus Coleman admitted to being annoyed by Everton entering this season without a second striker, woefully unprepared, and leaving David Moyes inadequately supported. But all indications point toward Everton signing a striker in January, and Kelvin Yeboah can now be considered on the list of targets.

What are your thoughts on a potential move for Marcus Rashford? 👀 Everton and Man United are said to be in talks over January move…
Barry has been pretty great this season, scoring eight in 12 alongside two assists. However, reinforcement in January is a non-negotiable, and now Kelvin Yeboah can be added to the list of potential signings.
It comes according to talkSPORT, in their transfer notebook, it is claimed that Yeboah is on the radar of several Premier League clubs and some in Europe, with Everton among those keen and in need of a forward.
Sunderland and Crystal Palace are also mentioned as being interested parties in signing Yeboah. The Minnesota star could be available for less than £10m, which makes him a strong budget January signing.
Kelvin Yeboah is a 26-year-old striker currently playing for Minnesota United in the MLS. Born in Accra, Ghana, Yeboah represented Italy at the youth level, right up to a U21 level.
Yeboah has played in Europe before, passing through Austria (WSG Tirol, Sturm Graz), Italy (Genoa), Germany (FC Augsburg), France (Montpellier), and Belgium (Standard Liege).
Standing at 6ft 1in tall, Yeboah is a versatile, physical, and direct striker who can operate as a lone striker, making him a potentially very strong option to sign and deploy off the bench to give some rest to Barry.
While obviously unproven at a level such as the Premier League, Yeboah is as good as they come in the MLS and has the record for the most regular-season goals for Minnesota in a single MLS campaign, set with his 18 goals this season – breaking the 14-goal record that remained almost a decade.
He has also contributed two assists to Minnesota’s chances this season, as his interest from Europe is absolutely warranted.
The name Yeboah is pretty well known within English football thanks to Kelvin’s uncle, Anthony Yeboah, who is a cult hero at Leeds United.
Tony Yeboah played just 66 games for Leeds, scoring 32 goals in this time before returning to Germany with Hamburg. He was a phenomenal forward in his day, and if Kelvin had half the impact for Everton, it would be a game-changing signing.
This is a very interesting move for Everton, and it could end in the Yeboah family name’s legacy being furthered.
