Jude Bellingham's dad scores seven goals in special England match

Mark Bellingham, father of England stars and Stourbridge boys Jude Bellingham and Jobe Bellingham, produced a remarkable performance as the England Over-50s recorded a thumping 13-1 victory over the Republic of Ireland in Cambridgeshire.

The 50-year-old former non-league striker started in attack and wasted little time making his mark on his first appearance in an England shirt.

Mark Bellingham scored six times before half-time and added another goal following the interval, as well as providing an assist, to complete a memorable international debut.

His goalscoring exploits may come as little surprise to those familiar with his career in non-league football.

Mark Bellingham enjoyed a 17-year career which saw him represent 22 different clubs.

His former sides included Stourbridge, Halesowen and Bromsgrove.

Despite hanging up his boots from the non-league game, he continued to take part in veterans' football and earned his maiden call-up to England's Over-50s team after turning 50 earlier this year.

The seven-goal haul rounded off an impressive weekend for the Bellingham footballing family.

Superstar son Jude Bellingham was also among the goals for Real Madrid, while younger brother Jobe Bellingham impressed for Borussia Dortmund during their 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich.

Both brothers began their footballing journeys in Birmingham before going on to establish themselves at the highest levels of European football.

However, this time it was their father grabbing the headlines, with his seven-goal performance proving that the Bellingham family's eye for goal stretches across the generations.
