The Indianapolis Colts have made an addition at the defensive tackle position ahead of Sunday's Week 8 game in Jacksonville.
On Friday, the Colts announced that DT Kevin Givens was signed off the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad.
This move comes after the Colts traded DeForest Buckner earlier in the week. Givens will boost the depth of this position group.
Givens brings an experienced presence to the Colts' defensive front, having appeared in 71 career games over eight seasons, all of which were spent in San Francisco. He has postseason experience as well.
According to PFF, the bulk of Givens' career snaps have come as a pass rusher. His most productive years were in 2022 and 2023, when he logged 15 pressures each season.
Per the Colts team site, Givens has recorded 95 career tackles, 18 tackles for loss, and 8.0 sacks.
