Former Bristol City midfielder Lee Tomlin has joined the coaching staff at rivals Bristol Rovers.
Tomlin arrives at the Memorial Stadium having most recently worked as assistant manager at National League side Morecambe, where he was appointed joint caretaker manager following the sacking of Ashvir Singh Johal, in January.
The 37-year-old made 585 appearances in a career spanning 17 years at clubs such as Peterborough, Middlesbrough, Cardiff, Nottingham Forest, and Doncaster.
On being given the role of a first-team coach in Steve Evans' coaching setup, Tomlin said: "I've known the gaffer for 20 years, and I know he's a born winner. His record speaks for itself, so for me to come in and be part of this group, it's a real privilege."
