The Arizona Cardinals will face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in Week 8. The Cardinals are struggling this season, sitting at 2-5. But the Cowboys are 3-4 and have not beaten the Cardinals since 2017.
It has gotten the attention of receiver CeeDee Lamb, one of the best pass-catchers in the NFL.
Since he entered the league in 2020, he and the Cowboys have lost four times to the Cardinals, which led Lamb to say this about the matchup.
"Yeah, it's just crazy," Lamb said via Dallas' team site. "[We were] being very, very relaxed, and they punched us in the mouth every single time. They've always had more energy. They were more excited, regardless of if it was a 12 o'clock, Sunday night or Monday night.
"We've played them in prime time. They beat us there, so we need to treat them as if they are a Super Bowl-contending team, which they may be, you know what I'm saying? Hats off to them in their prep, and we've just got to go match them, if not overpower that."
The Cardinals certainly are not a Super Bowl-contending team. They have looked mostly like one of the worst teams in the NFL this season. However, they seem to find ways to win against the Cowboys.
The Cardinals have never lost at AT&T Stadium, which opened in 2009.
The Cowboys are seven-point home favorites in this game. The Cowboys and Cardinals kick off at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday (11 a.m. Arizona time).
