FootballTransfers' November 2026 update brings major valuation changes as Max Dowman hits €63.5m, Florian Wirtz loses €37m and Alejandro Garnacho suffers a 25% drop.
Article continues under the videoMax Dowman’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has soared, with the wonderkid now rated at €63.5 million by FootballTransfers’ algorithm, making him comfortably the most valuable player aged under 18 in the world and underlining the generational potential of the Hale End graduate.
Dowman’s star has been on the rise with Arsenal’s first team since he came to widespread public attention by making his debut as a 15-year-old.
Although he has featured on only 18 occasions for the first team, he has returned an impressive three goals and one assist in just 676 minutes of senior football.
Already this season, he scored two goals in an EFL Cup victory over Ipswich Town, and though he was controversially sent off in the following round against Fleetwood, he has still seen his value jump an astonishing €53.4m.
Dowman’s challenge is to now earn more regular first-team football for the Gunners, something that promises to be a challenge given the strength and depth in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
To emphasise just how far ahead of his peers Dowman is, the next most valuable 16-year-old is Metz midfielder Believe Munongo at €14.3m. This pair are exceptional. There is not another player of their age valued at more than €2m.
Meanwhile, Dowman is also far more valuable than anyone even a year older than him. Kennet Eichhorn of Bayer Leverkusen is worth €27.8m while Jeremy Monga, who was linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer, is rated at €20.9m.
| Rank | Name | Age | Team | Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) |

Wirtz’s struggles since joining Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2025 have been well documented, but the German’s ETV had help up well until November’s update.
The 23-year-old has seen an astonishing €37.2m wiped off his valuation after a slow start to the season. Although Wirtz’s form has picked up lately, notably via assists against Brentford and Brighton in the Premier League, as well as a goal against Villarreal in the Champions League, there remain long-term doubts over his form.
Since arriving at the club for what was at the time a club-record fee, the playmaker has been Liverpool’s undisputed most valuable player, yet for the first time this big drop changes that.
Alexander Isak has overtaken him in this regard while Dominik Szoboszlai and Bradley Barcola are the other Reds stars who have ETVs that are over €100m.
Ironically, this drop comes just at a time when Wirtz seems to be getting his form together under Andoni Iraola, so it may be that he bounces back in the near future, yet this is nevertheless a reminder of the fragile position that he has at the club.
| 1 | Alexander Isak | €106m |
| 2 | Dominik Szoboszlai | €105m |
| 3 | Bradley Barcola | €100m |
| 4 | Jérémy Jacquet | €86.4m |
| 5 | Florian Wirtz | €79.3m |
| 6 | Cody Gakpo | €74.9m |
| 7 | Ryan Gravenberch | €74.4m |
| 8 | Rio Ngumoha | €73.2m |
| 9 | Hugo Ekitiké | €70.9m |
| 10 | Alexis Mac Allister | €66.1m |
Andrey Santos was one of three major midfield signings that United made in the summer. He arrived at Old Trafford along with Carlos Baleba from Brighton and Youri Tielemans from Aston Villa.
This midfield overhaul was not just the most important business that Michael Carrick’s side did in the summer, it was the only business of note they conducted to upgrade the first-team squad.
With the Red Devils struggling this season, doubts are being voiced over their signings. Baleba, for instance, pulled up injured against Roma and appears set for a lengthy absence.
Now the wisdom of signing Andrey Santos for €56m is being questioned from within Chelsea.
According to a report from The Athletic, there was a belief at Stamford Bridge that the young Brazil international was “worth half that price”.
Andrey Santos’ Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) is €54.9m, and though this is the highest value of his career, it is a figure that has not wavered significantly over the last 12 months.
When United signed him in the summer, his ETV was sitting at €49.3m, a little below his sale price but not an outrageous among over that figure. And the Manchester side’s stance in signing him has since been justified by the small rise he has enjoyed since.
With ETV calculated using a variety of factors and heavily reliant on in-game data points, the Andrey Santos deal is one that both Chelsea and Man Utd got a fair price for.

Alejandro Garnacho is not the biggest of Xabi Alonso’s problems at Chelsea, but Argentine’s continued loss of value reflects a failing transfer policy at Stamford Bridge.
Garnacho is currently on loan at Aston Villa from the London side, but the former Manchester United youngster has yet to start a game for Unai Emery’s side, while he has not contributed a goal or an assist since making a summer move to Birmingham.
Chelsea looked like they were taking a gamble on the attacker when they paid United €46m for the player in 2025, but in their defence, they were paying well below the market value of the player at that time, so it could be argued he was a strong market opportunity at that point.
But the decline that Garnacho had hinted at in Manchester has only accelerated. Although he scored eight times for Chelsea last season, four of these came in the EFL Cup with only one in the Premier League.
Aston Villa’s failure to see anything positive from Garnacho has been highlighted by the fact that he has three Premier League minutes in nearly two months, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) has dropped to just €28.7m.
Over the course of the last month, his value has been slashed by more than 25% from €40.5m to €28.7m.
It’s not an immediate problem for Chelsea to solve, but given he still has nearly six years to run on his Stamford Bridge deal, he is already threatening to become a chronic issue.
Real Madrid’s Yan Diomande and Chelsea’s Joao Pedro are among five players to hit the magical €100m valuation for the first time in their careers.
The other stars to achieve this in FootballTransfers’ November update are: Sandro Tonali (Tottenham), Elliot Anderson (Manchester City) and Ayyoub Bouaddi (Man City).
Meanwhile, Chelsea are the only club with five players valued at over €100m.
