Around 1,528 Wrexham supporters travelled to South Yorkshire for the clash with Sheffield United, a smaller following than on some of the Reds' previous visits to the ground.
On the pitch, Phil Parkinson's side endured a frustrating evening as they fell to a 1-0 defeat, their second consecutive loss in the Championship.
Ben Brereton-Diaz scored what proved to be the only goal of the game after half an hour, converting the rebound after Wrexham goalkeeper Anthony Patterson had saved an effort from Jordan Ayew.
Wrexham improved after the break following a change of shape, but struggled to threaten the Sheffield United goal as the hosts held on for all three points.
The away end continued to back the team despite what was unfolding on the pitch, although frustrations could also be heard from the travelling support as Wrexham struggled to find a way back into the game.
It proved a night to forget football-wise, but there were still plenty of Wrexham colours on show in and around Bramall Lane.
