Sutton got their first of the afternoon 21 minutes in through a Jayden Moore own goal before four minutes later Temi Babalola doubled their lead.

The visitors then made it three after 33 minutes as Brandon Njoku won a penalty which Charlie Carter made no mistake in scoring.

Worthing came close to pulling one back in the second half with Emmerson Sutton’s deflected strike coming off the goal frame but they could not find a decisive moment.

The result saw Worthing’s impressive 10 game unbeaten run come to an end.
