Stephen Curry had plenty of reasons to be frustrated Friday night.
The Golden State Warriors had their home crowd behind them, built a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter and appeared positioned to open their Chase Center schedule with a victory.
Instead, they watched the Memphis Grizzlies rally for a 111-108 win, turning what looked like a promising night into a painful early-season setback.
Curry finished with 24 points, four assists and two rebounds in 30 minutes, leading Golden State’s offense in a back-and-forth contest that came down to the final minute.
But the result, and the Warriors’ inability to protect their advantage, overshadowed his individual production.
