Undefeated Japanese world champion Mizuki "Mimi" Hiruta has signed with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions, adding another high-profile talent to the company's roster in women's boxing.
Hiruta (11-0, 2 KOs) has defended her WBO junior bantamweight title seven times since 2023, and was named Ring Magazine's 2025 Female Fighter of the Year.
"I'm so excited to chase my dreams with MVP," Hiruta said in a statement. "I'll turn all this gratitude into strength, keep working hard, and never lose my smile or forget who I am."
MVP intends to expand the 30-year-old's international and U.S. presence. Her last fight took place in May on the undercard of a WBC heavyweight title fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Rico Verhoeven in Giza, Egypt. Hiruta cruised to a unanimous-decision victory over Mai Soliman in that bout.
"Japan has some of the best boxers in the world and Mizuki Hiruta has everything it takes to become a global superstar," Paul and MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian said in a joint statement. "She's undefeated, a world champion with seven successful title defenses, a four-time Japanese Female Fighter of the Year and one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world."
Hiruta's signing represents another significant international addition for MVP. She claimed the WBO title in just her fourth professional bout in December 2022. MVP has not yet announced her promotional debut.
