Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley may be an intriguing trade target for the Seattle Seahawks to pursue this season to add experience and depth to their wide receiver room.
Ridley has the potential to be another reliable option in Seattle's passing game, offering a veteran presence who is capable of helping to stabilize the receiving corps and give the offense another weapon to utilize.
Ridley has recorded five receptions for 81 receiving yards this season across six games played. His career-best season came in 2020 with Atlanta, when he recorded 90 receptions for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns. He’s not too far removed from his last 1,000-yard season, which came in 2024 with Tennessee, when he went for 1,017. Ridley’s experience producing at a high level makes him an appealing option for a team like the Seahawks needing more threats in the passing game to consider.
The Seahawks may benefit from taking a chance on a receiver like Ridley at this juncture of his career, as Rashid Shaheed and Cooper Kupp look to improve their underwhelming production in 2026. Seattle's passing attack is in need of another dependable target capable of contributing on short, intermediate and deep routes. Ridley has the talent to potentially provide several useful receptions per game while giving the offense greater versatility and helping prevent the passing game from becoming too one-dimensional around Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
