Hull City head coach Sergej Jakirovic said after last weekend's poor 1-0 defeat at Fulham that he thought picking his side to face Brentford would be fairly straightforward.
So poor were his City team at Craven Cottage, few could have any complaints about being dropped for Sunday's visit of Brentford to the MKM Stadium, so with that in mind, it will be fascinating to see what he opts to go with.
Tuesday's behind-closed-doors friendly with Lincoln City had been scheduled to give the likes of Hidemasa Morita, Tim Iroegbunam and Joe Gelhardt valuable minutes in their quest to get up to speed after injuries, but was cancelled with the Imps suffering from their own injury issues.

Jakirovic will be able to welcome back Mohamed-Ali Cho and Lucas Gourna Douath to the squad, which will come as a major boost to the City chief, as both missed the past two matches, though Nobel Mendy is not yet fit enough to return.
Ryan Giles was dropped at Fulham, with Brooke Norton-Cuffy coming in on the left side, with Jakirovic explaining that was partly down to Giles' performance against Everton, but also the summer arrival's experience, having played there last season for Genoa. He also wanted to focus on Josh King and Oscar Bobb.
In truth, that experiment didn't work, and at home, the Tigers' head coach may opt to bring back Giles. Another area surely under consideration is in midfield. Regan Slater and Matt Crooks both struggled last weekend, though things did slightly improve in the second half when they went with a three in the middle of the park following the introduction of Ireoegbunam. It would perhaps be a surprise if at least one of Iroegbunam or Morita were not given a starting berth against the Bees
Jakirovic has rightly persisted with his 3-5-2 formation so far this season, and for the most part, it's worked well, but that might be something up for debate in the hours before the game in a bid to try and get Oli McBurnie more involved in the top half of the pitch, where he can impact the game.
What the Tigers head coach will want is much better quality on the ball, more hunger in the challenge and a tempo that we've seen in previous games, which was severely lacking at the Cottage.
City's running power and press were a mess. In short, Fulham worked harder with and without the ball, and that will have hurt Jakirovic and his dressing room. They know they'll need to be better this weekend, and that's why he may look to make a few changes to give those players waiting in the wings a chance to impress and stake their claim.
