The Spanish side enjoyed a special connection with the Celtic support during their visit to Celtic Park, with a record travelling contingent making the journey from Vigo for the European clash.

And that bond appears to have continued back in Spain after footage emerged of Celta playing “Let The People Sing” over the stadium speakers ahead of their clash with Real Betis.
The Celtic and Irish anthem could be heard around the Estadio Abanca Balaidos as supporters made their way into the ground ahead of the goalless draw.
Celta-related account Mundo Celeste shared footage of the moment on social media alongside the message: “In Vigo we do not forget what happened in Glasgow.”
The gesture comes after Celta supporters spoke warmly about the connection formed with Celtic fans during their trip to Scotland.
The travelling support had described a “brotherhood” between the two sets of fans, with the relationship clearly extending beyond the Europa League encounter itself.
The latest gesture only strengthens the relationship formed between the two fanbases after their European meeting.
