Danhausen’s experiments: WWE stars we could see be resurrected by him following SmackDown
WWE star Danhausen

On last night’s ‘Very Nice, Very Evil’ SmackDown, Danhausen unveiled his ‘most evil experiment’ on the show.

After he was attacked by Gunther, it was then revealed that Danhausen’s experiment was the return of the Demon Finn Balor, who took out Gunther with a Coup de Grace through the announce table.

After the resurrection of the Demon on last night’s Very Nice, Very Evil episode of WWE SmackDown, here are more names we could see be resurrected by Danhausen soon.

Zack Ryder

Matt Cardona making his WWE return as Zack Ryder

After making a cameo appearance in the John Cena Last Time Is Now Tournament, Matt Cardona returned to WWE on the first SmackDown of 2026, doing so under his real name instead of as Zack Ryder, which he competed as in the tournament.

However, before his injury, Cardona had been appearing in backstage segments with Danhausen, where he was starting to tease potentially returning to Zack Ryder.

With Cardona out injured, his return from injury could be the perfect time for Danhausen to resurrect Zack Ryder if that’s the direction the company still wants to go.

‘Evil’ Alexa Bliss

Last week, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley lost the Women’s Tag Team Championship to Michin and B-Fab, bringing an end to their run after just two weeks.

Speculation has continued to mount about a potential break up between Alexa and Charlotte Flair ever since Tatum joined the pair on the main roster, and we could be getting close to that moment.

When Alexa returned in 2025, there were initial meetings within the company about her potentially joining forces with the Wyatt Sicks and returning to her former ‘Evil’ character she had while with Bray Wyatt.

If WWE wants to bring that side back out of Alexa, Danhausen could be the one to resurrect it.

Sin Cara

It was recently reported that WWE have at least held initial discussions about potentially bringing back the Sin Cara character.

Myzteziz Jr is the name that has been eyed to take up the mantle should it make it’s comeback, but with neither of the former Sin Cara’s working for WWE, how could the gimmick return.

Danhausen making an appearance in AAA to revive the gimmick in Mexico would make an easy way for Sin Cara to be reintroduced to WWE television.
