Matheus Cunha and Michael Carrick appeared to exchange words after Manchester United's dramatic win over Roma. Cunha was the hero for the Reds as two late goals in three minutes helped them secure a memorable and much-needed 3-2 victory over the Italians in the Champions League.
After the Brazilian scored the winner, he took his shirt off and jumped into the jubilant United fans in celebration, receiving a yellow card in the process. Not long after, he received a second booking and a subsequent red for a late challenge on Roma star Leonardo Balerdi.
When the final whistle went, Cunha wanted to join in with the celebrations, but was quickly seen by Carrick. After their short exchange, the ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers forward seemingly became upset before heading towards the Old Trafford tunnel.

It's unclear as to why the Brazilian appeared to grow angry after his brief exchange with the United boss, though it's believed Carrick had urged the Brazilian to go down to the dressing room to avoid receiving further punishment.
Players who receive a red card usually have to remain in the dressing room until the officials have left the pitch. Under IFAB Law 12 (Fouls and Misconduct), when a red-carded player enters the pitch immediately after full-time, whether to celebrate with team-mates or argue with officials, it can be classed as an unauthorised pitch entry and misconduct.
If reported by match officials in the match report, Cunha could face an extended match ban and UEFA Disciplinary fines for both the player and the club.
Cunha watched the final minutes of the match while perched on top of the advertising hoardings. When the final whistle was blown, he had not even gone down the tunnel despite being sent off.
Cunha did not seem happy as he headed off the pitch
The South American could be seen remonstrating with an Old Trafford delegate as he marched towards the tunnel at full time after speaking with Carrick. The 27-year-old eventually regained his composure, stopping just before the tunnel to applaud the home support.
Despite the flashpoint, United will be delighted they've ended their torrid run of results. United were poor in the opening 45 minutes and deservedly 2-0 down at half-time.
After Matias Soule and Donyell Malen gave the Serie A side a 2-0 lead, United were looking down the barrel of a fifth defeat in six matches in all competitions.

Old Trafford jeered the United players as they went down the tunnel for half-time. For the second half, United played like a team that had a point to prove.
Cunha played a key role in United's first goal, winning the penalty which was converted by Bruno Fernandes. The skipper missed his first spot-kick, but after encroachment from Roma players was retrospectively spotted by the officials, Fernandes smashed in from 12 yards at the second attempt.
In the final ten minutes, Cunha won the game for United, capitalising on a defensive error to equalise from close range, before firing a powerful winner past the Roma goalkeeper to send Old Trafford into delirium.
