Owono's red card was the third of the match. Earlier in the game, Tenerife had surrendered their 2-0 lead which came courtesy of first-half goals from Christian Gomis and Enric Gallego.
Andorra's Lautaro De Leon replied with a penalty in the 83rd minute, but he was remarkably sent off after clashing with Tenerife goalkeeper Dani Martin while attempting to get the ball back. Martin was then shown two yellow cards in quick succession, and Andorra soon found an equaliser through Stefan Golubovic to set up a grandstand finish at Estadio Heliodoro Rodriguez Lopez.
