North Cliff Golf Club’s stars were out in force at their 2026 presentation evening.

The roll call of winners rocked up to the collect their silverware, greeted by a full clubhouse of members, friends and family who bathed in the joy and reflected glory of all their exploits on the course this season.

Captain Simon Boddy eloquently hosted the evening presenting the trophies assisted by Competitions secretary Tim Hill.

Tommy Walker defied in one so young an inauspicious early spring predicament which rendered him on crutches following two hip replacements by playing his way to an amazing four Major trophies including the much venerated club Matchplay title "The Auction Bowl".

Tom also teamed up with his Brother Joey for one memorable doubles Trophy victory "The Walker Cup".

Clare Ellard won her 16th ladies Club Championship while Tom Benson shot his way to a plus 3 handicap in a truly majestic season for him which included the men's Club Championship "Gibson Cup" and shot six un-believable gross sub-par rounds in a valiant display of shot making week in week out through his and this truly blistering summer.

Tom's game has reached new and exciting heights, roll on 2027.

A special mention to Chris Walker and Paul Wiffen with 90 years membership between them they collected North Cliff's major 4ball Matchplay title "Jock Bayne Trophy" following over 40 years in pursuit of this most historic piece of club silverware.
