Kentucky high school football media rankings entering Week 11 action
Trinity High School's Ashton Taylor (8) celebrates his touchdown with Trinity High School's Jason Hagan (7) in the first half during KHSAA 6A football in La Grange, Kentucky. October 23, 2026

As the final weekend of the regular season approaches, there was little movement in this week’s Kentucky High School Football Media Poll.

Trinity (Class 6A), Pulaski County (5A), Highlands (4A), Christian Academy (3A), Beechwood (2A) and Pikeville (A) kept the No. 1 spots in their respective classes.

Trinity, Pulaski County, CAL and Pikeville are unanimous choices.

Among the Week 11 matchups on Friday, Oct. 30, is a battle between the No. 2-ranked teams in their respective classes: Frederick Douglass (6A) at Boyle County (4A).

The Kentucky High School Football Media Poll is conducted by 16 sports journalists throughout the state, with one representative for each of the 16 basketball regions in order to provide geographical balance. The final poll will be released next Wednesday, Nov. 4, before the first round of the playoffs.

Here are the complete polls. First-place votes are in parentheses.
