Celtic now have just three wins in their last 10 games after being well beaten by Falkirk.
The afternoon got off to the worst start as a major error from Cameron Carter-Vickers when trying to clear the ball fell into the path of Ethan Ross, who was able to easily fire past Sam Johnstone.
A forgetful first 45 then got even worse as Scott Tanser doubled the hosts’ lead before the break, leaving Martin O’Neill with plenty of food for thought. It could’ve been 3-0 after the break but the Hoops were left off the hook after VAR ruled there to be a handball in the build-up.
Question marks over O’Neill’s future are rightly beginning to surface but for now, here is how 67 Hail Hail scored the ratings of the players.
Can’t really blame Johnstone for the goals conceded but it’s another game where you are sitting there and wondering what Viljami Sinisalo actually did wrong to warrant the change in goalkeepers?
One of the many recent O’Neill decisions that has left supporters scratching their head.
Colby Donovan didn’t look like the player that has impressed so far this season. Several simple passes went astray, he was regularly beaten by his winger and just seemed to struggle with the pace of the game overall.
One of his worst games in a Celtic shirt. While his comments in the media may have been justified, Carter-Vickers did not back that up on the pitch. Mistake after mistake and basic errors all over.
He was expected to restore some balance to the defence but if the Hoops hierarchy don’t look at that and realise they need to invest in new centre-backs, then I don’t know what will convince them?
Normally so comfortable next to Carter-Vickers, the two looked like they had never seen each other, never mind a title-winning partnership.
Scales has been a scapegoat but is so easy to play against and constantly leaves the Hoops exposed at the back.
Part of a defensive disasterclass and couldn’t deal with Ross all afternoon. Looked off the pace and the lack of a capable challenger for his spot at left-back means a spell out of the team is nigh on impossible.
It’s always the same from Callum McGregor. It’s passive, it’s sideways passing. As the leader you should be the one taking the game by the scruff of it’s neck and advancing up the pitch.
Callum McGregor was right to call out the tactics, but he’s got to do more on the pitch himself.
Brought in to bring a degree of calmness in the midfield. Instead it was chaotic, was unable to get his foot on the ball and he was bullied by the Falkirk central midfielders.

Another toothless display from the winger. You can use your pace to beat players all you like but if you aren’t going to deliver any sort of end product then it’s all for nothing.
Spent more time getting rattled by the Falkirk full-back and he desperately needs to start chipping with some goals and assists.
Normally one of the more reliable ones, Mika Baur struggled in the more advanced role on the pitch but still tried to create anything when he would get the chance.
Couldn’t get into the game at all, largely due to not being given the ball. A couple of bright moments but it wasn’t his afternoon.
The best out of a bad bunch and even this was one of Camilo Duran’s poorer games. In fairness to the Colombian, there is very little you can do when you don’t have the ball at your feet.
Scott Bain denied him a couple of times with some good saves but the fact that Duran had one touch in the second half before being withdrawn in place of Kasper Hogh.
