The New England Patriots released their first injury report ahead of their Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers.
It was another laundry list of players who were either limited or didn't practice on Wednesday. Star wide receiver A.J. Brown, who has missed multiple practices and last week's game against the Miami Dolphins, fell in the latter category.
The three-time All-Pro is still dealing with the knee flare-up that set him back last week, along with the injured ankle from the season opener. The fact that he was a non-participant at the first practice this week doesn't bode well for his chances of playing against the Packers.
While the Patriots have been unlucky so far on the Brown front, they were blessed with some good fortune with rookie edge rusher Gabe Jacas being listed as a limited participant at practice. He dodged a serious knee injury against the Dolphins, and he is already back on the field preparing for the next challenge.
Veteran edge rusher Dre'Mont Jones was also limited with a shoulder and knee injury. Here's the Patriots' full injury report from Wednesday's practice:
DT Christian Barmore (illness)
RB TreVeyon Henderson (illness)
WR A.J. Brown (ankle/knee)
TE Hunter Henry (foot)
S Kevin Byard (chest)
CB Carlton Davis III (neck)
WR Mack Hollins (calf)
EDGE Gabe Jacas (knee)
EDGE Dre'Mont Jones (shoulder/knee)
OL Morgan Moses (foot)
OL Greg Van Roten (hamstring)
QB Drake Maye (shoulder)
