Tennessee Basketball’s cream home uniforms have been one of the Vol Nation’s favorite alternate jerseys in the UT lineup for a while now. The cream backdrop helps the orange script ‘Vols’ really pop on the television screen, giving Tennessee a unique, classy design on the court.
The Vols unveiled their new Adidas cream uniforms on Friday afternoon. These threads swap out the solid orange outline around the collar, sleeves, and pant legs from the old Nike designs for a double-striped look in the same places. The waistband mimics the double-striped pattern. Adidas also gave Tennessee their trefoil logo on the jerseys, rather than the traditional three-stripe logo. The uniform text also has a white outline around the Vols script to make the letters and numbers stand out more.
The SEC logo lands in the center of the collar to make room for the Axle Logistics brand logo on the upper left side of the jersey.
Tennessee will debut the new-look uniforms during a home game against Michigan State on Nov. 3 in the Food City Center:
