NFL franchises are built through the trenches, and those are established through the NFL Draft. In recent years, we have seen some of the best in the league come out early from the draft and become immediate starters. The 2027 NFL Draft is a bit top-heavy in terms of offensive tackle, but there is depth at guard.
Here are the top ten offensive line rankings, blending tackle and guard:
1) Carter Smith, OT, Indiana
2) Trevor Goosby, OT, Texas
3) Cayden Green, OT, Missouri
4) Austin Siereveld, OT, Ohio State
5) Kade Pieper, OG, Iowa
6) Greg Johnson, OG, Minnesota
7) Jacarrius Peak, OT, South Carolina
8) Jordan Seaton, OT, LSU
9) Trevor Lauck, OT, Iowa
10) Samson Okunlola, OG, Miami
Indiana's Carter Smith has established himself as the premier offensive tackle in the class, but Trevor Goosby and Jordan Seaton are names to watch in the first round. Cayden Green and Austin Siereveld could kick inside to guard and be on the level of Kade Pieper and Greg Johnson.
Johnson is a major riser to watch, as is Trevor Lauck, but South Carolina's Jacarrius Peak could be the mid-round project who pans out. Peak is a monster of a tackle who has the intangibles but needs more reps to refine his game.
