CCTV update after 'stones thrown' at Gloucester City fan

Police are investigating after they were called to a Redditch Football game after it was reported a stone was thrown.
Worcestershire Police were called to reports of disorder following the Gloucester City V Redditch match on Saturday, October 24.
It was reported that a stone was thrown at an away supporter.
No serious injuries were reported following the incident.
The police say they are now reviewing CCTV to establish any other offences and to identify those involved as part of their enquiries.

One One Gloucester City supporter took to X following the game to say: “Defeat on the pitch and a shambles off it. If clubs can't ensure the safety of fans in their stadium then they shouldn't be allowed to have them in the stadium. We could see what was going to happen from the 1st minute and the useless stewards did nothing to prevent it. Group of their young fans in the stands with us trying to goad us from the first minute. Also throwing rocks at us from behind the stand.
They continued: "Punches thrown and further issues in the car park after the game. Stewards did nothing, waiting till full time to call the police. Farce."
Gloucester City AFC issued a statement on Sunday, October 25, saying: "Following yesterday’s fixture, serious concerns have been raised regarding the safety of our travelling supporters, after an incident involving a small minority of Redditch United supporters that resulted in one of our fans sustaining an injury.
They continued: "The safety and wellbeing of our supporters is paramount, and we want to reassure everyone that incidents of this nature will be taken extremely seriously. Investigations will take place to establish the full circumstances surrounding what happened and to ensure the appropriate action is taken."
A spokesperson for Worcestershire Police said: “Officers responded to reports of disorder following a Redditch United football game on Saturday (24 October). It was reported that a stone was thrown at an away supporter. No serious injuries were reported following the incident. Enquiries are now ongoing, including reviewing CCTV to establish any other offences and to identify those involved.“
