Unfortunately, AC Milan have received some worrying news about Adrien Rabiot and the possibility that he’ll miss the derby.
It seems October may have taken another casualty, with Rabiot already out for the game against Bologna on Wednesday night. However, it seems the Frenchman may even miss the Derby della Madonnina game against Inter on Saturday, too.
The Frenchman has suffered a calf injury and it was hoped that he’d recover this week, especially after missing the game in Udine. Yet, that may not be the case…
This afternoon, Calciomercato.com have reported that Rabiot also won’t be part of the squad against Bologna. His calf problem is ‘very bothersome’, and the Rossoneri’s medical staff are desperate to avoid the injury relapsing.
Unfortunately, this means that he’s a ‘serious risk’ for the derby, with his condition expected to be assessed on a daily basis. Ruben Amorim is already crossing his fingers, which is not a good sign, and the hope will be that he can be available for the game.
Right now, though, the Portuguese will be unlikely to plan with the Frenchman in mind. If his condition doesn’t improve shortly, he’ll be forced to do without him.
