Today, Samuel Chukwueze was scheduled to see a specialist and the results are not positive for AC Milan, it must be said…
At the start of the season, Milan doing without Chukwueze would maybe not be seen as a problem. However, the Nigerian has starred on several occasions, being one of the few starters to face little competition.
Ruben Amorim has taken a huge liking to the winger and he has been repaid heavily for this trust, so far with Chukwueze providing two assists in seven games so far this season.
Unfortunately, that has meant that his injury will be felt that much more, especially with Alexis Saelemaekers also absent through injury. A scan was scheduled for today, with the Rossoneri hoping to hear some good news, but it seems it hasn’t arrived.
Peppe Di Stefano, speaking to Sky Sport from Bournemouth, reported that the Diavolo will be without Chukwueze for a few months, the worst news possible, as MilanNews relayed.
“There’s a real risk that Chukwueze could be sidelined for at least a few months. Gonçalo Ramos had an initial ultrasound yesterday, which came back negative. He’s undergoing an MRI scan in the next few hours to try to rule out any micro-lesion in his soleus.”
